Before I announce, I just want to say that every piece published at Micromance Magazine is amazing, and I am so proud of all of the contributors and their talent. You all have come together to make Micromance a high-quality lit mag that is picking up more momentum everyday.
Choosing 6 pieces out of the 150+ that have been/are scheduled to be published in 2024 was not easy. If I had to choose my favorites, it would be impossible.
And that brings us to the nomination process- I basically allowed the readers/subscribers to choose the nominees by using Substack top engagement stats- likes, views, reach, comments, etc - to pick 4 stories and 1 poem.
A second poem, scheduled for publication later in the year, was chosen by me because it is one of those pieces that has stuck in my mind since I first read it - it's well-written, creatively expert, and has great potential to be a top post at Micromance… and beyond.
Now, with all that said, let's get on with the show….
Envelope please….
And the 6 nominees for the Pushcart Prize's historical 50th edition are, in no particular order:

Linette Rabsatt - Roses In Bloom
Ash Douglas - The Elf All About Himself
Let's all join in a round of applause for these awesome nominees…👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Congratulations to you all…and best of luck!! 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳
