There's a Brand New Lit Mag For You
Hey, everyone! We have some exciting news to share - our very own Karina Longo, a regular poetry contributor and friend of Micromance, has just opened her very own lit mag dedicated to passionate poetry and prose poetry with a classical sensibility.
Karina, a Pushcart Prize nominee for her poem Lovelight (nominated by Micromance Magazine), loves poetry of all kinds, but is looking to give a voice and platform to poets from all backgrounds and experiences…. MFAs not necessary! If you've got well-written, beautiful words born of the heart, she wants to read them!!

Submissions are open and she's already getting a stream of subs….so be sure to get your poems in (send in 2-5) to be a part of the start of the next big poetry lit mag!!
Volunteer Wanted
Karina is also in search of an assistant… someone reliable with excellent communication skills and who loves poetry to help with some of the little ins and outs of running La Rotonde Review…
Duties would include, but not limited to:
• Scheduling poems for publication on Substack (posts and newsletter)
• informing authors of their publication dates via email
• replying to general inquiry emails
• strong, friendly communication skills are a must for both interacting with contributors and for working with Karina
• must be reliable
All publication decisions will remain with Karina Longo, EIC. At the moment, reading submissions will not be part of the assistant’s tasks….
But if you're interested in learning a little of what goes on behind the scenes of a lit mag and want to gain some experience in online publication, this is a great opportunity!! And to sign on now, in the beginning of La Rotonde Review’s poetic reign, you have the chance to learn and grow right along with Karina and possibly “move up” in title as the magazine sees fit!!

And for those wondering, No, I am not in any way affiliated with La Rotonde Review, nor is Katie or anything Micromance. Karina is a friend and contributor and I'm just very excited for her and for the opportunity she's giving writers and poets… I know we have several “resident poets” who I hope support La Rotonde Review and submit some of their fabulous work…. And I know we get a lot of poetry submissions… so there are a lot of poets out there, reading us and watching us, and I couldn't think of a better way to spread the news of La Rotonde Review’s opening than to send out this newsletter to our awesome audience!!
