So, what exactly is The Frantic Romantic Weekend Writing Challenge?
So, glad you asked.
The Frantic Romantic is a writing challenge that will take place the third weekend of every other month, beginning Feb 20th. Each challenge will be comprised of a theme, a word prompt (or prompts), and an exact word count (either 350 or 500). Challenges will be delivered via our newsletter and will be sent by 3 PM Eastern Time. You will have until 3 PM Eastern Time on Sunday (48 hours) to write, edit, and submit your story.
Stories will be read and judged by Micromance EIC, G. Lynn Brown, and the winner and a couple runners-up will be announced/published in a special newsletter the second Saturday of the following month. In December, all 5 winners will be entered into a drawing for a special prize.

Please, keep it sweet romance (☺️😉🤗on the Micromance Sweet/Hot Scale of romance writing). Any spice shouldn't exceed 😘🤭… Please, NO 🥵🫣…
Story must have title, and title does NOT count toward word count
Stories MUST be submitted through our Google form
