Greetings all lovers of things romance….
First off, I’d like to say our little team here at Micromance Magazine is growing! I’d like everyone to welcome
and H.N. Roberts. Along with being contributors to the magazine, Katie has become one of our social media managers, in charge of Instagram (@micromancemagazine), and H.N. has become a social media manager for Facebook, as well as our marketing/promotional manager (merch, contests, etc) and an editorial consultant. So now when I say “we,” I mean “we”… lol….Serials Are Coming…
Part of the vision for Micromance Magazine was to include writing from regular contributors and/or serials. And now that vision is coming into focus. Beginning in mid-September, we will feature a delightful romcom, Blowing It, by Nina Miller. The story will drop each Sunday morning for 5 weeks.
And we are looking for other writers interested in presenting their love stories as serials. I already have 2 or 3 interested, but am open to hearing from others. Stories must be romance/love stories, adhere to all standard Micromance Submission Guidelines, but rather than being capped at 1200 words, we will accept pieces up to 3500 words.
Anyone interested or who has any other questions can contact me, G. Lynn Brown, at:
Contest Correction
Some of you may have noticed that the contest to name our little lovers has no comment to section to submit entries. I wish someone had told me…lol… I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing responses and went into the post and realized the comments were off. I apologize for this. Because of this, the contest will now run from today, Aug 22 to Aug 30. The updated link is:

Issue One…

), with a couple swoon-worthy, poetic “observations” about what love is byI want to thank everyone who submitted, everyone who has been reading, everyone who has been commenting on the posts and restacking them… It’s all been so incredible… and the pieces for September/October are going to be just as spectacular.
