It's October....ššš
Well, we're entering another seasonā¦. Cool weather will soon be coming, pretty leaves, spooky nights⦠šļøšš»ā¦Hard to believe 2025 is about overā¦. And September just seemed to fly by - more like, it was just a blur. I think I was kinda glad to see it go. Especially since I spent part of the last evening of it at the wake of a good friend's father⦠I hadn't seen my friend in 7 years, and only got to visit with him for a few short minutes, but at least we got to say the hello that had been missing for so long. I wish it had been under better circumstances, but, it is what it is.
On a lighter note, I had a very nice visit with 90ās country superstar, Aaron Tippin. As a mutual friend of my friend, he was at the wake as wellā¦. He lives in/around Cookeville and I've run into him before, but this was the first visit⦠I was just thinking about being a teenager in New Jersey in the 90ās, hearing Aaron Tippin on the radio, and never being able to even imagine that thirty-some years later I'd be talking to him like I knew him forever at a funeral in Tennessee. Funny what life throws our way⦠the roads we takeā¦. the people we meetā¦the connections we makeā¦
Ok⦠I don't know where those deep thoughts came fromā¦.just a reflection of the past month, I sāposeā¦. But September is over (good riddance) - let's look forward to October and beyondā¦
But firstā¦.
