It's The Weekend...
Time for some reading?
Hello Everyone!! How is November treating you? Well, I hope….
Well, I have the usual updates - KissMet Quarterly's The Greatest Holiday Romance Stories Ever Written is out in both paperback and ebook…jam packed with 30 sweet holiday romance stories by 28 awesome contributors…
There's one week left to submit to KissMet Quarterly's Winter 2026 issue….
Submissions still open, until December 31, fir our Romantasy anthology, Saltwater and Ash…
I'm working on my own little project as well… a haiku collection… a bit out of character for me, maybe, but then again, not really. I'm more of a poet than story writer. And I've really racked up quite a few haiku in the last couple years - especially in the last few weeks… 💔 serves as such a great muse! 😂😁…I'm hoping to have it ready early in 2026… it will be between 30 & 40 haiku formatted to tell a “love” story through the seasons… when it gets closer to release, I will reveal the cover…😄…
Hey…let's give a huge congratulations to our Co-editor, Katie Fitzgerald.and her story “The Next Chapter,” for being chosen the winner in Spark Flash Fiction's contest issue…
You can read it here for free:

So go check it out and give her a huge round of applause!!
One of out poetry contributors, the extremely talented Karina Longo, has had another poem published at Spillwords… A Rose By Any Other Name posted yesterday … please check it out and don't forget to tick the little heart …let's get her a nomination for publication of the month!!
So, now you can't say you don't have any good weekend reading - you've got a beautiful poem by Karina, a perfect later-in-life romance by Katie, if you're on Kindle Unlimited you can read The Greatest Holiday Romance Stories Ever Written for Free, and, if you bought a copy this week, you've got either the paperback or your eBook device to curl up with… Not to mention, it's the perfect time to scroll through Micromance and catch up on any stories or poems you may have missed….
So happy reading…happy writing…and have a great weekend!
Gail Lynn, EIC 🥰
