KissMet Quarterly Update...

Hello, all! Before I get into KQ updates, just a quick update about Like Naked Taunts…

LNT is the first anthology published by Micromance and is a small poetry anthology - it released May 15th and features amazing poetry from 13 extremely talented and accomplished poets (award winning, prize nominated, all around fabulous writers)…. If you love poetry and are looking for something dreamy and steamy to read on a rainy afternoon or on a sunkissed beach, this is the perfect book for you!

Submissions closed on May 15th for A Serendipitous Summer - we received 42 submissions and accepted 27 so far… I can't even convey how impressed I am with the quality of submissions… these are fabulous stories from a number of super-talented flash romance writers. We have some familiar names from both Micromance and the spring KissMet, as well as several new names to our community! I can't express how thrilled we are to have branched and caught the attention of so many accomplished writers.

In June, more details will be coming about a release date, a contributor list released, etc…

A quick note about submissions…

Remember, June 1 Micromance submissions open again! Same categories with some updated guidelines, so be sure you read through them before submitting. But Please, no submissions before the 1st.

Also, please note that Micromance submissions are sent to

Do NOT send them to micromancemagazine@gmail.com - this email is used for inquiries and the “business” end of MM. Submissions can get ”lost” there, and we don't want that.

And only send submissions for KissMet to Kissmetsubs@gmail.com - and keep in mind KQ is a publication for genre romance, sweet meet cute type of stories with a seasonal theme …. Stories about friendship, YA (non romance), CNF, erotica, kid lit, poetry, etc are not for KQ. Also KQ’s word count is 750-1200 words.

Whether submitting to KQ or MM, please, check the guidelines! And if you're still unsure, feel free to ask. I'd rather you ask then send in something incorrectly and have the piece rejected…
