Love Story
By Bob McAfee
A man told me
if you love hard enough
you will never be alone.
🩷🩷🩷
He loved so hard
his love began to break apart.
One part disappeared,
🩷🩷🩷
then another.
There was nothing left.
It bothered him
🩷🩷🩷
no piece remained.
He sat by himself in the rain.
Someone sat down next to him,
🩷🩷🩷
shared an umbrella
and a conversation;
she had additional pieces
🩷🩷🩷
she was willing to share,
had been gathering them
for many years on the odd chance
🩷🩷🩷
someone could be found
as lonely as she who could use
all the extra love she had to offer.
🩷🩷🩷

Love this Bob! Pieces to fill in our empty spots..it's so true. Beautiful!
I like this. It's simple and clear but strangely moving.
