Me And My Disease Called Love
A five stanza poem written in descending lines (from 5 in the 1st to 1 in the last) from the analytical lens of love as a ‘disease’ by Bright Aboagye
FIVE LINES (descending)
You will always be my wildest dream
I have loved you since I was nothing
There are scars on my body just for you
Write to me sometime
Yours forever, Yours.
FOUR LINES
Do you like my hair
Do you know how I smell
Do you like me as a mess
Do you love me at all?
THREE LINES
Heard about her ?
She’s a damsel distress and you are her Prince Charming
I am her distress
TWO LINES
Make me
Unlove you.
ONE LINE
Stab me right between my breasts while looking me straight in my eye
Very creative!
