Upon the soft couch there,
In your arms wrapped, I lay calm, held with care,
With kohl-rimmed eyes, at you, I stare:
Your eyes, were brimming with passion- I see so rare,
Like the dark clouds, that the monsoon sky wears.
In a few moments, it began to pour, wetting the air.
Shedding the rain loaded in them,
the sound of downpour can, anyone, ensnare.
***
The warmth of your breath,
Those folds of your perspiring skin,
Pamper my desires
Enhance the romance
of the season of rain….
How playfully,
How mischievously
Raindrops caress my face;
With the wild rain-bearing winds
my inhibition is let lose, to evaporate-
I melt along with the drizzling droplets,
unfurling the minutes of an unscripted magical date!
While our love gets warmer, we
are drenched in rain.
