Paid Subscriptions....

Greetings, all! Hope you're having a great weekend!! I'm just popping in with another quick update …
Recently, I have received a few subscription pledges and have had others show interest in supporting Micromance Magazine. I struggled for a long time, debating whether I should enable paid subscriptions or not. But with the active interest in supporting us, I've decided to activate them.
But don't worry! It's not what you think! You have my word that nothing about Micromance Magazine will change. Everything about it will REMAIN FREE TO ALL. No pay walls, no “paid subscriber only” content… ALL FREE. The paid subscriptions are basically a way for those who wish to support Micromance monetarily the ability to do so - the paid subs are basically donations. And, apart from this newsletter explaining it, and the footer at the bottom of emails where Substack puts “subscribe” buttons, there will be little to no “push” to get people to pay for subscriptions.
Details are as follows…
Monthly subs are $10/month… I believe these can be canceled any time, so if someone just wishes to contribute $10 or $20, that's the option to take.
Yearly subs are $90, and yearly subscribers will receive a MM sticker pack as a thank you.
These prices were chosen because they were the prices originally pledged by readers and seemed reasonable enough.
Proceeds from these paid subscriptions will be used to help MM continue to grow and to continue to promote its contributors… cash-prize contests, buying promotional products (ex., stickers for giveaways), advertising for anthologies, etc., are the types of things the funds will be used for.
So, if you enjoy MM and appreciate what we do for flash romance and its writers and wish to support us and its contributor monetarily, then this is your best way to do that…
But no pressure … no obligation… Reading our content each day, sharing stories, encouraging our contributors is support enough!! And, I keep saying it, but Micromance, hands down, has the best audience out there!! Thank you all so much!!
But in the spirit of the transparency that we've established here, I wanted everyone to be aware of what was going on and assure everybody that nothing was changing with the day-to-day operations of MM….
