Drowsily Jenna put on her robe and stepped into the blindingly bright dorm hallway. She blinked. “Ian?”
Lately, he’d been getting tongue-tied around her, but now he smiled around free-flowing lyrics.
Jenna lost herself in his warm brown eyes as she tried to focus. Was this what he’d been trying to say all along? It had always come out wrong before, but in his serenade, she heard the message.
She stepped closer. “I love you, too.” The strumming stopped as Ian’s lips met Jenna’s. Spoken or sung, they didn’t need words anymore.
