Sneeze
By Chris Callard
It’s simple, I love her.
It’s stupid that I love her.
It’s inevitable that I would.
Was set somewhere else, no explanation.
Nothing’s simple or rational.
Still there is it.
You wear it on your sleeve,
and when you hear her sneeze
in the morning, such a pleasing sound,
ridiculously profound.
Isn’t that love?
An explosion shared,
yet calm all around.
