The First Month of Micromance

Hello, Everyone! Well, June has come and gone, which means the first submission period for Micromance Magazine is closed (We open again July 5). But what a first month it was:

In all honesty, I was not expecting the reception I received. But the amount of submissions was amazing, and the quality was top notch. I am convinced that this will be one of the best literary journals out there.

All submission responses have been sent out. I believe 43 poems and stories have been accepted. For the inaugural issue, I did accept a few more than I planned to, but, hey, it’s a party, right? Posts should begin about July 20th, with the PDF being released sometime in August.

I want to thank everyone who submitted!! All of the subs were terrific and though some had to be turned away, it wasn’t an easy decision to decide which ones. I couldn’t be here doing this without you. So keep submitting. If not here, somewhere. You’re all amazing!!!
