You Are Forever Mine

You hold me when times are tough,

And you love me when I do not feel good enough,

I never feel worthy of you,

But every day I’m slowly realizing that is not true,

Maybe it’s the way we kiss,

It feels like eternal bliss,

I don’t ever want this to end,

I love having you for a boyfriend,

It’s almost like we are already married, and I cannot complain,

There’s more to love than a change in a last name,

Forever yours no matter what happens to either of us,

I love you so much.

Our Romeo and Juliet Story

Hey there, Romeo,

Is it me, Juliet?

Let’s kick it like it’s the Shakespearean era,

Minus the ending of that tragedy, we are supposed to endure,

Let’s create a world where we are together even though the family doesn’t agree,

Let me continue to try to prove myself even if I die trying,

Doesn’t matter what they say they do not know our love,

The voices in my head tell me to keep going,

I will never give up on our love and I know no you will not either,

Dealt a difficult hand,

We will choose our beginning,

our middle and our end.

Tragedy fades,

Love remains.
