I really enjoyed your story, Sue, especially for the Suffolk references. Although I now live in Scotland, I still think of myself as an East Anglian. My favourite indie bookshop is in Aldeburgh.
Fantastic story, Sue. This one tugged at the ole heart strings, as it’s somewhat similar to what happened to me at one point in my life. Luckily I made the call, we reconnected, and my wife and I will celebrate 12 years of marriage later this year. Couldn’t be happier. 😊
This story held my interest until the -- I won't say "bitter" end, rather, the uncertain end. Created mixed emotions. The romantic in me wanted her to rekindle, since hubby didn't much appeal to me, but I'd be stricken with sympathy for him. It's a good story that doesn't tie the possible ending in a tidy bow.

Thanks, Vicky. I only moved to Suffolk seven years ago but love it here! Glad you liked the story.

Thanks for your comments, Tamara. It's so interesting to know how people react. I often like to leave my stories open ended! Glad you enjoyed it.
What a wonderful story. I think she should meet him for a drink for sure considering how her husband seems.
Thanks Sue…really enjoyed reading xx
Thanks, Jacqueline for your kind comment.
Loved this story. Wasn't sure how it was going to end so lovely surprise. Kept my attention all the way through. Well done, Sue.
Thanks, June. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
