I'm myself a huge fan of collecting coloured stones ( tiny , shiny, big, all kinds) . I really enjoy collecting them so I can really relate to her.

And it's more meaningful if you meet someone precious doing your favourite hobby

I always love reading your stories, Sue, and this one is right up there (probably because it's set on a beach and so beautifully paced) ❤

Thanks, Vicky. That's kind of you! I love beaches too. We're on holiday in Norfolk now and sadly it's raining!

We've just spent a week in Suffolk, with variable weather conditions, but I love the pebble beach in Aldeburgh so much that it didn't really matter. Enjoy your hols!

Sue, I've always thought that the quickest way to get over one love is to find another, and your character has done just that. Nicely done depiction of the attraction and great dialogue.

So cleverly conjures up a real feel of the seashore setting and the personalities in such a short time. Margaret
