I'm triggered by this one - I had a bf in my teens who was always late, and it didn't get any better. She needs to leave, now! Great story, though :)

I have been off mood for most of the day. Nothing seemed to have gone my way! The story I sent somewhere hasn't even got me an acknowledgement! Fed up, I decide to check my mail again. There is a story waiting for me! I scroll down to make sure that it is not a lengthy story, as is my habit.

I read the story at a go. I had to admit it to myself that it is a lovely story. The love portrayed between the protagonist and her husband is so out of the world. Thanks to the writer M.Gail Shelter for the story and the Editor for sharing this story with me.

Now, it's time to pen off, I am back to being my depressed self. When will I write such a story? Will I, ever?

I want her to leave, give up; her love will die eventually -- maybe after a couple kids, then what? Story as old as time, but in this case, a well-written one, especially that third paragraph. Describes romantic feelings so beautifully.

Great story. Love the ending! Perfectly and playfully captures how toxically addictive these kinds of relationships can be.

This story is sure to resonate with many people caught in thus cycle of neglect and forgiveness. Love is hard to let go of even when reality tells a different tale. Great story!
