Well, we made it to the weekend. And I have a couple things to share with y’all.
First, we're having a “Name the Micromance Lovers” contest…
From August 16 until August 23, everyone is welcome to submit their entry by commenting on the linked post… of all the entries, 3 favorites will be picked and, of those 3, a poll will be sent out to subscribers to vote on their favorite… Winner will be featured in a newsletter, where they can share a story or poem (any genre), promote a book or their website or their Substack, etc., and will be included in our upcoming “Meet our Contributors” page, credited with their win/contribution…prizes available to U.S. residents

Next thing … along with nominating for awards, we are going to participate in
weekly calls for fiction to boost our contributors, gain more exposure for your works and possibly be named that week's Top In Fiction. It's an awesome endeavor of Erica Drayton to encourage and inspire writers, and so I have already submitted Marcelo Medone’s “A Tavern…,” J.E. Dyer’s “Unbroken” and Johannah Simon's ”Pop, Pinch and Spark”… results will be released Monday, and I encourage everyone to follow Top In Fiction to read some awesome pieces from all genres…Ok… I guess that's it for now… have a great weekend and I can't wait to see what names you come up with for our mascots…
Happy Writing,
G. Lynn 😁
TiF isn't a contest. Don't want to give off that impression. If so, then everyone is a "winner" and there are definitely no losers. It's just a way for all fiction writers to promote their work and for readers of fiction to recommend fiction they've read throughout Substack. The selection process is very much random. Or as random as I can make it.
