There are awards at different times of the year... Example, the Pushcart Prize - this is a recognition award for pieces published in/by independent and small presses.... Editors can nominate 6 pieces. Other awards are Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions, + BestMicrofiction.. we participate by nominating pieces from those we published.... Many other lit mags do the same... This is an exciting time of year... But the best (and only) way for writers to participate is to submit to lit mags who nominate and hope they are nominated.. if you're not nominated right away, don't be discouraged - some of the best never get nominated.... Just keep submitting, keep honing your craft and don't give up! 😁
I heard that writer can win awards too. It was written on the invite in advertisement of micromance . Is this true. How to participate ?
